ToBeReaL consortium is formed by 14 partners (INNEN as affiliated entity) from 10 European Countries, 4 of them considered underrepresented in the EU Bioeconomy sectors (SGZ, CLUBE, BEC and PNO PT). These partners bring the knowledge for the implementation of ToBeReaL assistance services in the 4 categories and their wide networking to attract project’s applicants to the 3 rounds of assistance.

INNOVATION ENGINEERING SRL

(Italy, affiliated to PNO ES): is a private company focusing on the design and development of advanced IT solution to search, access and manage relevant knowledge within enterprises, on the web, and in structured databases, with specific focus on technology innovation. INNEN is continuously investing in R&I, performed with industry and academia leaders in Europe, to launch innovative IT services in the market and solutions based on state-of-the-art technologies. INNEN has developed Wheesbee, an innovative software specifically designed for stakeholder analysis and innovation ecosystem mapping. This expertise will be used to the key features of the “ToBeReaL” Community Platform in WP 7.

Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Štajerska

SGZ represents the business community of Podravje Region (Slovenia). They are the national coordinator of Strategic research and innovation partnership (SRIP) with 95 members. SRIP is a connection of Slovenian business subjects, educational and research institutions, and other interested parties, collaborating with the state, to create new circular economy value chains. Due to its strategic location, they will have more capacity to specially recruit Eastern bioeconomy stakeholders.

CLUSTER VIOOIKONOMIAS KAI PERIVALLONTOS DYTIKIS MAKEDONIAS

CLUBE develops synergies between local and regional players and businesses in bioenergy and bioeconomy, aiming at introducing and developing innovation in the sector and increasing its added value. It is member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Association of Biomass and co-founder of the Greek Bioeconomy Forum. CLUBE is one of the bioeconomy pioneers at the national level. CluBE is also member of various EU bioeconomy networks and associations, such as the former European Bioeconomy Stakeholders Panel (set up by DG RTD), the BIC, InnovaWood, European Network for Rural Development (ENRD), S3 Bioenergy Partnership, World Bioeconomy Forum and others. Therefore, ClUBE brings to the consortium its extensive network of primary producer, industry players, regional development agency and policy makers.

BIOFUEL REGION BFR AB

BFR is a non-profit organisation whose mission is to promote the development of bioeconomy and of a low-carbon transportation sector, by initiating, coordinating and collaborating on projects. The BFR cluster represents 20 companies and 8 Municipalities in Sweden’s four northernmost counties, and they collaborate with the public sector, industry and research and development institutions. BFR is currently coordinating a bio-based economy network for 14 Regions all over Sweden.

FONDAZIONE AGRIFOOD & BIOECONOMY FVG

FAB is a non-profit foundation whose mission is supporting the competitive and sustainable development of agrifood and bioeconomy sector in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. FAB is also the body coordinating the regional cluster of companies belonging to the reference sector and brings together a network of institutional stakeholders (universities, Chamber of commerce, trade associations, etc.). FAB acts as an accelerator of innovation and sustainable growth processes in agrifood & bioeconomy. The Foundation operates throughout the regional territory and also at national and international level towards the development of a circular and sustainable bioeconomy promoting interlinkages between urban and rural areas.

BIOECONOMY FOR CHANGE

B4C is the leading French Bioeconomy Cluster, gathering over 500 members from across the entire bio-based value chain. B4C’ members are mainly agricultural cooperatives, research institutions and universities, companies of all sizes, public stakeholders. B4C has a dedicated business intelligence service with 15 years of experience performing strategic studies and advice, 4 monitoring platforms related to bioeconomy topics and development of XploreBio platform1, the bioconomy marketplace. B4C is involved in 3 French Regions to deploy bioeconomy regional strategies, is leader of the French Bioeconomy Action Plan and acts as vice president of both Bio-based Industries Consortium CBE-JU Programme.

BIOECONOMY CLUSTER

BEC promote cooperation, networking, innovation and mutual exchange of information between its cluster members (research centers, agricultural university and SMEs) and other stakeholders in agri-food and bio-based sectors. BEC connects the entities of knowledge triangle, promotes knowledge transfer and cooperation of R&D with agri-business. BEC has broad experience in the implementation of national and international projects, participates in monitoring committees and working groups at national and EU level, and has experience in the area of technology transfer.

Ainia

AINIA has 36 years of experience in R&D across various sectors like agri-food, cosmetics, pharmacy, chemistry, and packaging contributing to a healthier, more sustainable and safer society. AINIA focuses on advancing bioeconomy by working on projects related to alternative biomasses, biofertilizers, biopesticides, biorefineries, waste valorization, water treatment and high-value compound extraction from biological resources. AINIA is actively involved in mentoring programs like StartBEC, offering technological support to start-up companies developing innovative products in bioeconomy-related topics. AINIA’s facilities include three buildings covering over 13,000 m2 in Valencia Technology Park, housing 21 pilot plants and reference laboratories for chemical analysis, bioassays, and biosafety.

Flanders Research Institute for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food

EV ILVO focuses on developing knowledge for sustainable agriculture and fisheries to meet the future global food demand. EV ILVO conducts multidisciplinary research across four units, emphasizing sustainability and innovation from farm to fork. Key components include the Food Pilot, a living lab for agrifood bioeconomy projects, and involvement in numerous bioeconomy initiatives. The B2BE Facilitator connects biomass producers with companies for bio-based product development and supports bioeconomy start-ups.
